We are a short walk from the train station with local connections to Newmarket (3 miles) and Cambridge(10 miles). Dullingham has a great “local” pub and also a restaurant. A good restaurant 3 miles away. Our accommodation consists of one en-suite double (can take child bed), one twin and one double room, both with private bath or shower rooms. We have one cot and a high chair. Prices: £85.00 for twin or double, £55.00 for single or single occupancy, inclusive of breakfast. Ensuite, £60 for single, £90.00 for double. Gretta ran her own catering business for 15 years so you are assured of a wonderful breakfast with homemade breads and jams and eggs from her own “Bluebelle” chickens. Well behaved dogs by arrangement. Three course dinner by arrangement from £25.00. Supper from £10.00 Our garden is open to the public via the NGS. We are now in the Alastair Sawday guide. The Wheatsheaf is set in a quiet village with fantastic accessibility into Newmarket, Cambridge and Bury St. Edmunds. Byerley House was purpose built as a small private hotel in 1998 and offers luxurious accommodation close to the centre of Newmarket. Situated in a quiet street with safe parking, we are only a two-minute walk from the High St, which offers a variety of shops, restaurants and bars. Although Byerley House has guests visiting from all walks of life, the owners of the house are horseracing people. The house is excellently run by former amateur jockey Bobbie whose husband Conrad is a bloodstock consultant and also a successful licenced racehorse trainer. For anyone visiting the town for their interest in horseracing, Conrad and Bobbie's professional connection with the sport offers a unique insight into the sport for any racing enthusiast. If time permits, Conrad is also happy to take guests onto the gallops to show them the horses in training although this will have to be arranged. Guests at Byerley House enjoy the use of a resident’s lounge with wide screen TV and a private dining room. All bedrooms are equipped with TVs and en suite bathrooms.
