ACCOMMODATION IN Newark The Beaumond Cross Inn is an old 18th Century coaching Inn situated at the Beaumond Cross Roads in the heart of Newark on Trent's town centre on the Great Northern Road (now the A1). It is easy to find by road and has a free car park for guests. It is a short walk from Newark's Castle train station, 10 minutes from Northgate station. We have 7 rooms on the first floor and two beautiful rooms with original wooden beams cover the top floor. Due to the age and listing of the building, we’re sorry there is no lift access to any of the rooms in the Inn. Our rooms have recently been refurbished in September 2016. All our rooms are En-suite with a power shower. There is an iron, ironing board, hair dryer and fan in all rooms. Tea and coffee making facilities. Complimentary toiletries. All our linen is freshly pressed with fluffy white cotton towels. We try very hard to grant all requests for specific rooms, however please understand that at times we have a lot, therefore we cannot 100% guarantee requests.
