Moss Cottage is a charming detached house located just 1 mile from the very heart of Stratford-upon-Avon with its wonderful timbered houses, theatres, attractions and many quality restaurants. We have 3 rooms, 2 doubles on the first floor with en-suite showers, basin and wc. Plus 1 twin room on the ground floor which has a bath tub with shower over, basin and wc in the en-suite bathroom. All our rooms are spacious, light and airy with free Wi-Fi, hospitality trays, bottled water along with flat screen televisions with built in DVD players. We have the friendliest welcome in Stratford with caring but unobtrusive service so that you can come and go as you please and relax during your stay. Our breakfasts are freshly made to your own order. We only use top quality ingredients in our full English breakfast (including sausages specially made for us by our local butcher), Vegetarian and coeliac options are available too, or for a lighter option, why not try our scrambled egg and smoked Scottish salmon. We have free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi and all guests have unrestricted access at all times. Stratford upon Avon was the town where William Shakespeare was born and lived. This charming small town has a great deal to see, and is filled with old English charm and history.There are 5 Shakespeare houses to visit (we always have discount vouchers for these to give you on arrival). Stratford also has many small attractions too such as The Mad Museum, The Creaky Cauldron, River boat tours.. Stratford upon Avon also has many fine restaurants to choose from. Everything from fine dining in independent restaurants, to real local pubs serving great food and real ales! We are also just a short drive for Warwick with its stunning Castle and the Cotswolds with there wonderful villages and rolling countryside. Moss Cottage is the perfect place to explore the whole area!

An Edwardian town house boasting seven rooms ranging from three person en-suites to individual en-suites, all rooms are tastefully decorated and come with individual tea/coffee services, free view television, i pad / i phone docking stations and fresh clean towels. We offer a corporate membership free to our guests at the Alveston Manor pool & gym. Please ask for details. Groups We are happy to accommodate groups from Universities, Colleges, and Schools from home and abroad. We work closely with other guest houses to accommodate large groups. Guidance and assistance are available to help arrange theatre visits, lectures, tours, travel needs and various sightseeing excursions as necessary. Evening meals for groups can also be arranged for during your stay, helping to simplify your schedules and provide a focal point for the group to meet up before heading off to the theatre. Menu options and further details available upon request. Breakfast is served between 8 and 9 am though were happy to accommodate requests for earlier sittings when necessary. We take great pride in the quality of our food, Homemade bread, jam & marmalade, supplying local produce and English meat at all times. Vegetarian options are always available, whenever requested. This apartment is in the centre of Stratford upon Avon. It has its own street entrance, living areas on the first floor and 2 spacious bedrooms with hotel quality extra kingsize beds on the second floor. One of these beds can be converted to two 3 foot singles and there is also a sofa bed in the living room.There is a balcony with views over the rooftops and a glimpse of Halls Croft gardens. Everything in the apartment is new from the modern kitchen and bathroom to all the furnishings. Th apartment is very centrally situated, even though it is in the Old Town area. The Holy Trinity Church, Guild Chapel, Shakespeare's schoolroom and Halls Croft - home of Shakespeare's daughter and her physician husband are all within five minutes walk. The Royal Shakespeare Theatre is an easy ten minutes stroll as are the local shops and the rive Avon. There is also a pub with good food round the corner - but not near enough to be a nuisance. Towels and bedlinen are provided and the kitchen is fully equipped with fridge-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. The roomy bathroom has both a bath and shower. Guests with cars can pay a refundable deposit for a parking permit. Because the apartment features two startcases and a second floor balcony it is not suitable for very young children, less mobile adults or pets
